Job Description:

An established accounting firm in Centurion is looking for a qualified and experienced SAIPA Accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate must be able to manage the full accounting function, including compiling financial statements up to sign-off stage, handling payroll, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Full accounting function up to trial balance
Preparation of annual financial statements
Ability to take accounts through to final sign-off
Processing and managing payroll
Submissions of VAT, PAYE, UIF, and other statutory returns
Preparing management accounts
Client liaison and support
Maintaining accurate financial records

Minimum Requirements:

SAIPA Qualification (Essential)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting firm
Strong knowledge of accounting and tax principles
Experience with payroll processing
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Own transport and valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Sage, Pastel, Xero, or CaseWare
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (Office Hours)
