Job Description:
Centurion Careers is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor for a leading sheet metal manufacturing company located in the Sutherland Ridge area of Centurion. The company specializes in producing high-quality metal components using bending and laser-cutting machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
- Supervise a team of skilled operators and technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor production processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a sheet metal or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of bending and laser-cutting machines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
